Note: If you are accessing off campus you will need to use a VPN client before trying to Map the drive. You can get one for your operating system at CITES site located at: http://www.cites.uiuc.edu/vpn/
1) Open My Computer
2) Right click on My Network Places and select Map Network Drive... (or under the Tools menu)
3) Select a letter designation for Drive: and type in "\\commons2.life.uiuc.edu\courses" in the Folder: field.
4) Click on different user name.
5) Input "MCB403" for User name: and the password that was given during lecture for Password:.
6) Click OK.
7) Click Finish.
You should now be able to see commons2.life.uiuc.edu as a mapped network drive under My Computer.
